Cascadecon approached Artifact to envision a logo and brand that telegraphed fun, board games, and the Pacific Northwest.
For the shape, we chose a hexagon, a common element in board games, for the type, we selected a pairing to communicate fun, specifically Troika for the main type, and the mountain and colors signal the Pacific Northwest.
Each year we create a new theme that’s continuous with the brand, but carries its own personality.
